T.H.E. Centre was established in 1997 due to the need of a centre for natural therapies in the Upper Hunter.  This Centre is unique as our Herbalist Pat Collins creates many of her own medicinal and cosmetic products from her own garden and surrounding bush.  This is now becoming a rare art as many “home made” products are made from bought base creams, herbs and oils.  Pat goes into the field and makes her own infused oils; pulls up the Paddy’s Lucerne plants and cuts them all by hand; extracts the gel from the aloe plant and dries the native nettles she collects on her property.  She knows the best time to collect all the plants and the best processes to extract the active ingredients. So many of our products are now imported and certainly not freshly made.  Pat also runs many workshops and courses, has written many practical books, created a video and a correspondence course

T.H.E. Centre is also the only health food shop between Tamworth and Maitland.  Thus we sell many food and health products as well as Pat’s range of products.  There are also numerous practitioners that work together to uphold our motto “Keeping the Upper Hunter healthy”.  We are happy to help you with any information on herbs or health products, just give us a call.

Our hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am – 1pm.
